Here are some of the places that I would like to explore photographically in the future. It’s not that I am completely determined to visit them; after all I believe that it’s no use planning for the future with too much anticipation. However, I leave the list here so that it can be used as a guideline for myself, and as an invitation for visitors with similar photographic interests to accompany me on these quests.

Alaska
Together with wildlife and magnificent landscape there is something in Alaska that has always fascinated me and that I hope one day to see and photograph: Northern Lights

Northern Italy
I was in Italy in 2001 but unfortunately at that time I wasn’t as interested in photography as I am now. Today I recognize it as a country with enormous photographic potential that I would like to explore with a new look.

Japan
I have a strong connection to Japan due to another activity to which I dedicate myself (iaido). Other than that I feel intrigued and fascinated by the culture of that people, with an extreme attention to detail and to the meaning behind each gesture. It is something that I’d love to capture on film.

California
Most people connect California with beaches or Hollywood. For me, the best caracteristic of this american state is the diversity of landscapes: sequoia forests, empty deserts, coastal landscapes, mountain views.

Western Australia
After being in Australia for three weeks, and having the chance to visit the western coast, I decided that I have to go back there. From Darwin to Perth, the coastline and some natural parks are full of photographs to be taken.
